I have a Ceton infinitv 4 which provides me with the ability to watch or record up to 4 digital cable channels at once. Millions and millions of people still consume their video directly from their cable provider and use a DVR - Windows Media center puts the cable provided DVRs to shame.

Not everyone is cutting the cord - just look at cable subscription levels. I also have the ability to stream via Media Center and watch videos that have been backed up to my personal network. It is my DVR that I use when watching cable television. Although no development has been done on this software in a number of years, the existing product is fabulous for what it does. Can someone from Microsoft please explain the rationale behind the removal of Windows Media Center from Windows 10? This is a key component that I use each and everyday from Microsoft.
